LOWFi began in 2013 as a byproduct of their generation's fluency in social media, when young Baltimore MCs Jayy Grams and Von Wilda connected with Florida-native Hayelo on The Booth Rap Studio app, sharing their music with one another and building a relationship. Bonding over their similar approaches to making music, the three decided to form an all-for-one crew and began making music as LOWFi.
